We appreciate the information that you've shared. We'd like to check if the laptop that you've used is running on the same version and build of Windows 10. This will help us understand if one of the components added in the update that was installed on your desktop.
In the meantime, we'd recommend isolating issues that can be caused by the USB root hub. The USB root hub is the software driver that lets you connect multiple USB devices on your computer. To do this, you can perform the following:
1) Open Device Manager. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
2) Right-click USB Root Hub option and click Properties.
3) Go to Power Management tab and uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Click OK.
If you have more USB Root Hubs, you need to repeat this operation a couple of times. Please remember to click OK after each performance. After completing the steps, plug your USB device back in to see if your computer is able to recognize it.
If your USB device is still not working after this, please check the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power back on and refer to the steps below:
1. In the Search box, type Device Manager and press Enter.
2. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.Note: You might have to scroll down the list to find this item.
3. Right-click the first USB controller under Universal Serial Bus controllers, and then click Uninstall to remove it.
4. Repeat step 3 for each USB controller that is listed under Universal Serial Bus controllers.
5. Restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically scan for hardware changes and reinstall all the USB controllers that you uninstalled.
6. Check the USB device to see whether it is working.
Note: Uninstalling and reinstalling the USB controllers will revert their configuration back to default.

So I am attempting to install the drivers for the Behringer UMC404HD, and I have no idea why, but everytime I try to run the application to install them, it immediately closes. Running as administrator doesn't help at all.

I see the devices in my audio settings, but whenever i try and load it up in Studio One. I get this error.
When viewing my device manage, I am seeing duplicates. At this point, I have no idea what to do. I was able to use this audio interface in Studio One before, so i know it's capable.
Something to note, it normally installs with a UMC control panel as well to adjust the buffer rate, but it appears it didn't install. I can use the device as a recording device to verify it is getting picked up, and I can hear playback when i assign it as a playback device.
Uninstalling drivers has done nothing. Anyone know how I can help either bomb the current driver, or what is preventing the current setup tool from loading properly?
